Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup leftover Moroccan-style meat, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 uncooked pie crust

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the meat, rice, onion, bell pepper, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Pour the mixture into the uncooked pie crust and spread it out evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese over the top of the pie.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm.
