Chocolate-Covered Cherries III

Ingredients

• 1 (14 ounce) jar of maraschino cherries
• 1 (12 ounce) bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
• 1/2 cup of white sugar
• 1/4 cup of light corn syrup
• 2 tablespoons of butter

Directions

1. Drain the maraschino cherries and set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate chips, walnuts, sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Microwave for 1 minute and stir until completely melted and combined.
3. Using a fork, dip each cherry into the melted mixture. Place on waxed paper to cool.
4. Once cooled, enjoy your delicious chocolate-covered cherries!
