Cranberry pie is a classic holiday favorite. This sweet and tart treat is the perfect way to end a holiday meal. Whether you’re using fresh cranberries or frozen, these recipes will have your guests begging for a second slice.

For the perfect pie crust, start with a classic recipe for a homemade butter crust. You can also opt for a pre-made crust to save time. The filling for cranberry pie can be made in a variety of ways. If you’re using fresh cranberries, mix them with sugar, orange juice, and a bit of almond extract for a classic flavor. If you’re using frozen cranberries, all you’ll need are sugar, cornstarch, and a bit of lemon juice.

Once your crust and filling are ready to go, all you need to do is assemble the pie. Roll out your crust into two circles and place one in the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Pour in your cranberry filling and top with the other crust. Pinch the edges together and cut a few vents in the top for steam to escape. Bake your cranberry pie at 375 degrees for about 50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Let cool before serving.

Cranberry pie is the perfect way to add a little sweetness to your holiday table. With these recipes, you’ll be able to make a delicious pie that your family will love. Enjoy!
