Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together the sugar, cornstarch, cranberries, orange zest, nutmeg and cinnamon.
- Pour the cranberry mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Dot the top of the filling with the butter.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
