Ingredients
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Add the cranberries and toss until evenly coated.
- Spoon the cranberry mixture into the pastry shell. In a separate bowl, combine the walnuts, brown sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon. Sprinkle the walnut mixture over the cranberries.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
