Ingredients

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and strawberries. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Fold in the chocolate chips and strawberries. Spread batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top of the cake springs back when lightly touched. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
