1 cup dry red beans

Directions

Add the soaked beans, vegetable broth, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 25-30 minutes or until the beans are tender.
Remove from heat and discard the bay leaf.
Serve over cooked brown rice.
