Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until cooked through. Drain off any excess fat.
  3. Add the hash browns, onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked turkey mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and Cheddar cheese. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
