Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 pounds boneless pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes

Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the pork and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
Add the tomatoes, green chiles, chicken broth and garbanzo beans. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
Serve hot.
