Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 lb) boneless pork loin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, smoked paprika, brown sugar, black pepper, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke. Set aside.
  4. Rub the pork loin with the olive oil, then rub the spice mixture over the pork loin. Place the pork loin in a large roasting pan.
  5. Pour the chicken broth mixture over the pork loin. Cover the roasting pan tightly with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake the pork loin for 1 hour and 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Remove the pork loin from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before shredding with two forks.
  8. Serve the pulled pork with your favorite sides and enjoy!
