Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the oregano, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, chipotle powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture onto the chicken breasts.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a greased baking dish.
  7. In a medium bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and lime juice.
  8. Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  10. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
