Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup raspberry jam
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour, baking powder and salt, and mix until a dough forms.
Press the dough into the prepared pan. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the top.
In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, almonds and sugar. Sprinkle this mixture over the raspberry jam.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool before cutting into squares.

These raspberry squares are a great way to use up leftover raspberry jam.
You can substitute other jams or preserves for the raspberry jam.
These squares can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
