Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raspberry jam
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour, baking powder and salt, and mix until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into the prepared pan. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the top.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, almonds and sugar. Sprinkle this mixture over the raspberry jam.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool before cutting into squares.
