Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
    • Directions

      1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
      2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage, onion, and garlic until sausage is no longer pink; drain fat.
      3. In a 9x13-inch baking dish, layer frozen potatoes, sausage mixture, and cheese.
      4. In a medium bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt, and pepper; pour over casserole.
      5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until eggs are set.
      6. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
