Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sliced black olives
  • 4 cups cooked egg noodles
  • 1 (8-ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic over medium-high heat until beef is no longer pink. Drain fat.
  3. Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and olives. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer 1/2 of the noodles, 1/2 of the beef mixture, 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
  5. Repeat layers with remaining noodles, beef mixture, and cheese.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve with extra Parmesan cheese, if desired.
