Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 (14-ounce) can sliced black olives
- 4 cups cooked egg noodles
- 1 (8-ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic over medium-high heat until beef is no longer pink. Drain fat.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and olives. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer 1/2 of the noodles, 1/2 of the beef mixture, 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining noodles, beef mixture, and cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve with extra Parmesan cheese, if desired.
