- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
- Stir in the oats and chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
