Ingredients
- 1 package manicotti shells
- 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (24-ounce) jar tomato sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook manicotti shells according to package directions.
- In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, salt, and pepper and mix well.
- Spread 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Fill each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture and place the filled shells in the baking dish.
- Pour remaining tomato sauce over the shells.
- Bake for 25 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling and the shells are golden brown.
