Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the oats, carrots, raisins, dates, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, salt, and water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the honey or maple syrup.
- Divide the oatmeal among four bowls and serve.
