Ingredients
- 1 lb. breakfast sausage
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage, onion and bell pepper until sausage is cooked through and vegetables are tender. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Spread sausage mixture in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme and basil. Pour egg mixture over sausage and cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until center is set and top is golden brown.
