Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick cooking grits
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Gradually stir in the grits and reduce heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
