Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh tuna steaks
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the tuna steaks and turn to coat both sides. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the tuna from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the tuna steaks for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  6. Serve the grilled tuna steaks warm.
