4 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring often, until the bread crumbs are golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Spread the green beans in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture evenly over the green beans. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the green beans are tender and the topping is golden brown.
