Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup heavy cream, optional
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, salt, and orange juice. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Add the lemon juice and cream, if using. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow container and place in the freezer. Stir every 30 minutes until it's frozen.
- Serve the frozen sherbet in chilled bowls or glasses.
