Ingredients
- 1 cup grits
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions
- Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat.
- Add the grits and salt, and reduce the heat to low.
- Simmer the grits for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the butter and stir until it is melted and incorporated into the grits.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese until they are melted and combined.
