Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of cornstarch
  • 1 quart of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of sherbet, any flavor

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cornstarch.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium-high heat until it is just about to boil.
  3. Slowly add the sugar and cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, add the sherbet to the mixture and stir until combined.
  7. Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking pan and place in the freezer.
  8. Freeze for at least 3 hours.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
