3/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of cornstarch
1 quart of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 cups of sherbet, any flavor
Directions
In a small bowl, combine sugar and cornstarch.
In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium-high heat until it is just about to boil.
Slowly add the sugar and cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let cool completely.
Once cooled, add the sherbet to the mixture and stir until combined.
Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking pan and place in the freezer.
Freeze for at least 3 hours.
Serve and enjoy!
