Directions
- In a large bowl or container, combine the cold water, kosher salt, dark brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, freshly ground black pepper, and bay leaves.

- Add the chicken pieces to the brine and make sure they are completely covered with the brine solution.
