1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup uncooked small pasta
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the oregano and basil and cook for 1 more minute.
Add the tomatoes, vegetable broth, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, and pasta and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
