Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and cream cheese. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Add the vanilla and lemon juice. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the chopped almonds.
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
Let cool before serving.
