Ingredients

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (or more to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • Optional: whipped cream for topping

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a gentle boil.
  3. Remove from the heat and serve in mugs. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
