Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the vinegar, water, sugar, pepper, garlic powder and yellow mustard.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Add the hard-boiled eggs to the mixture and reduce the heat to low.
- Simmer the eggs for 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let the eggs sit in the mixture for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove the eggs from the mixture and place them in a container with a lid.
- Pour the remaining mixture over the eggs and let them cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate the eggs for at least 24 hours before serving.
