- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin purée
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, beat together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and pumpkin purée.
- Mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
