Ingredients
1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (20 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the crushed pineapple with juice. Sprinkle the cake mix over the pineapple.
Spread the cherry pie filling over the cake mix.
Pour the melted butter over the top of the cake and fillings.
Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and shredded coconut (if using) over the top of the cake.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
