- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 (15 oz) can fruit cocktail, drained
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, fruit cocktail, oil, and eggs. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
- In a medium bowl, combine the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Beat until light and fluffy. Spread the frosting over the cooled cake.
