Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, bone-in
  • 1 lb lamb shoulder, cubed
  • 1 cup couscous
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 zucchini, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Directions

  1. Season the chicken and lamb with salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, turmeric, and cinnamon.
  2. Heat some oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Brown the chicken and lamb on all sides, then remove from the pot and set aside.
