Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
3 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen or canned)
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon dried thyme

2 cups heavy cream

Directions
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the broth, corn, flour, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the cream and crab and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Serve hot.
