Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds of pork, cut into cubes
  • 4 tablespoons of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of water

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pork cubes, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and black pepper. Mix to combine.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, until the pork is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the water to the skillet. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve with steamed rice and your favorite vegetables.
