Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup canned pumpkin puree

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until well combined. Add in the pumpkin puree and mix until blended.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
Fold in the walnuts, if desired.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
