Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 cups cooked chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion, bell pepper and garlic and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the ground ginger and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce and broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the chow mein noodles, chicken and green onions and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Serve warm.
