Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 2 cups cooked chow mein noodles
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion, bell pepper and garlic and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground ginger and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce and broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the chow mein noodles, chicken and green onions and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top and bake for 15 minutes.
- Serve warm.
