Ingredients

  • 4 strips of bacon, diced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 lbs. collard greens, washed and chopped
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until it is crispy.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the collard greens and cook until they are wilted and tender, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add the vinegar, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
  5. Serve hot.
