Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time and mix until fully combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not over mix. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the batter in the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the toffee bits over the top. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the toffee bits.
- Spread the remaining batter over the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
