Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla until well combined.
- Gradually add in the flour mixture, beating until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto prepared cookie sheet. Place a Hershey's Kiss in the center of each cookie, pressing down gently.
- Bake 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on the cookie sheet for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
