- 1 cup butter, softened

Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
