Ingredients

  • 1/2 head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 4-6 shiitake mushrooms, diced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 package of mondu wrappers

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, pork, mushrooms, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and sugar. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
  2. Lay out a mondu wrapper on a flat surface. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the filling into the center of the wrapper and fold in half, pressing the edges together to seal.
  3. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Add the mondu to the pan in a single layer and cook for about 3 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown. Flip over and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
