Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
3/4 cup milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Using a pastry blender or two knives, cut butter into the flour mixture until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Gradually add the milk, stirring until just blended.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
Serve warm with butter and honey or jam.
