Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove from the heat and set aside.
In the same skillet, combine the mushrooms, onion, celery, oysters, butter, garlic powder, thyme, and pepper. Cook and stir for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
Add the parsley, bread crumbs, and chicken broth. Stir until the mixture is wet. Remove from the heat and let cool.
Stir in the bacon and transfer the stuffing to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
