Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
  3. Spread the halibut fillets in a single layer in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the sauce over the fillets, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
