Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter (at room temperature)

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round baking pan.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and sour cream.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
