Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped

Directions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, bell pepper, mushrooms, carrots, and peas. Sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in cooked rice and season with soy sauce. Sauté for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve warm.
