Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, add the milk, cream, and sugar and heat over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.
- Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and add the vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
- Once the mixture is cold, pour into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Once the ice cream is done, transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
