Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped bacon
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup finely shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bacon, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place onto a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches at least 160°F.
  5. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
