Grilled Portobellos Sauteed in Wine

Ingredients

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush portobello mushrooms with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill mushrooms for 5 minutes per side, until they are nicely charred and cooked through.
  4. Transfer mushrooms to a plate.
  5. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat remaining olive oil.
  6. Add white wine and rosemary, and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add mushrooms to the skillet, and cook for 2 minutes per side, until mushrooms are glazed and heated through.
  8. Serve mushrooms warm.
